Employment Prerequisites
Thank you for your interest in our school!

All staff must:

  1. Be committed to a personal relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ.
  2. Be involved in a local church.
  3. Hold a four-year degree, verified by transcript. Additional training is highly desirable.
  4. Hold a valid teaching certificate for the position for which application is made.
  5. Have a minimum of two years' successful teaching experience.
  6. A minimum of nine (9) quarter hours or six (6) semester hours of Bible and/or theology, verified by transcript, is required prior to acceptance for career teachers.
  7. Love kids and have a “team player” mentality.
  8. Agree to serve at ECA a minimum of two school years.
  9. Career teachers must affiliate with a mission agency with whom ECA partners.
  10. Come prepared to enjoy the challenges and joys of a wonderful, cross-cultural ministry!
**While we desire that all of our staff have a valid teaching credential, the Executive Committee may make exceptions to the above requirements after careful review on an individual basis. Please contact the school for further detail.
