ECA has been serving the educational needs of children of missionaries in and around the Madrid area for more than 35 years. Over the last decade, the school began to recognize a need among missionary families in the area who wanted to utilize the school, but logistically could not because of the location of their ministry. Hence, the initiative was taken to develop a boarding program.

Our school is small (~80 students in grades 1-12) and a majority of students still live in and around the Madrid area and are able to commute daily. There are a few, however, for whom this is not possible or convenient, and our boarding program exists primarily to serve these few students and their families by providing a home away from home for them.

We offer both 7-day and 5-day (students go home on weekends) boarding for grades 9 - 12 with priority given to children of missionaries. What we term "the dorm," is not an institutional building or setting, but rather a fairly large house in Camarma which is able to accommodate the dorm parents and their family as well as 5 to 6 additional students at any given time. There is shared living space in the living/dining room and kitchen, and the students have bedrooms which are shared with other students. Boys and girls are housed in separate homes.

For new students, the application deadline is June 1st. After this date, there will be a late application fee of 25 Euros in addition to any late fees for school registration.
