  1. HELP NEEDED: We are in need of a volunteer(s) who would be willing to come in once a week for a few hours in the morning or afternoon to help the elementary teachers with things like making copies or other tasks as assigned by the teacher. Ideally it would be best if someone could commit to helping the same day each week (say Tuesday afternoons) so that the staff can know to count on that person weekly (we are flexible on the day and time). Also, we are in need of someone to help out in the office on Wednesdays and/or Thursdays. Please consider this as an opportunity to serve. Call Scot Musser or Julie Hendricks if you would be willing to help. Thank you!
  1. SCHOOL PICTURES: Thursday, October 9, is picture day. In addition to student photos, family photos will be taken Thursday morning from 8:20-9:10 AM. If you would like to have a family photo taken, please call the office by 4:00 p.m. TUESDAY (if you haven’t already sent in an email). This is important for the scheduling of the rest of the school pictures.

The second (and last) part of the workshop "How Difficult Can This Be?" will be held this Thursday, October 9, from 4:30-5:30 for all interested parents in the basement level teacher workroom. By popular request, Part 1 (for those who missed it) will be shown immediately prior to Part 2, starting at 4 p.m. sharp, so if you missed it the first time around, you can experience it all this Thursday! Come for a good discussion about the challenges of learning in today's classroom. Refreshments will be served.
